My name is Giovanni Luu and I'm a Vietnamese born in Hawaii. I'm going to be attending my third year of college at Sophia University in Japan. I have been self-studying Japanese for nearly four years and hope to become a polyglot in the future!
Why Japan? Why Sophia University?
It has always been a dream of mine visiting Japan from a young age so thus I decided? Why not actually do it? Why not learn the language and go for it?
Out of all the colleges I could have picked, I decided I wanted a university that would improve my language abilities the most in which that happened to be Sophia University. Sophia University is an international school which places an emphasis on language abilities for both Japanese individuals and those from abroad. This makes their student population one of the most ethnically diverse making it much easier to interact, communicate, and develop my language abilities.
